My husband, Bob and I have lived in New Canaan since 2002, and we have four children who have benefited from our school system. After serving four years on the Board of Education, and four years on the Town Council, I am running for re-election to the Town Council, and I hope you will support me.

My experience on these two boards has allowed me to share the voice of the community on matters which impact us all.  As an advocate for the residents in town, I hope to continue to approach issues before the Town Council with an open mind and critical thinking skills, and to work collaboratively with the other members on the Town Council as we strive to ensure the best for our wonderful town of New Canaan.

Professionally, I started my career at GE Capital before transitioning into a career in education.   I have over 20 years of experience in the field of education, and have worked in many capacities from being a classroom teacher to training educators at all levels.

I received a Master’s of Arts in Teaching from Sacred Heart University in 1995, and continued to take graduate coursework in Instructional Technology and Educational Leadership. I am certified to teach K-12 and also hold a certification in Administration. In addition, I am a licensed Realtor since 2014.

I hope you will VOTE for me for Town Council.
