David Cannon has lived in New Canaan since 2011 with his wife and five children. Three of his children have graduated from New Canaan High School, and he currently has a rising 9th grader and a rising 7th grader in the New Canaan public school system.

Mr. Cannon is a seasoned investment banker with over 25 years of experience in New York and San Francisco, specializing in private equity and corporate finance. He is currently a Managing Director in the Financial Sponsors Group at KeyBanc Capital Markets, where he works closely with private equity firms on mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising.

An active member of the New Canaan community, Mr. Cannon currently serves on the Board of Directors for New Canaan Youth Football and previously served on the Board of Directors for New Canaan Baseball. He has coached youth baseball and basketball since moving to town and is a strong advocate for balanced extracurricular and academic opportunities for students.

Mr. Cannon holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and a BA from the University of Utah.
