Katrina Parkhill, Board of Education

Ms. Parkhill has been a resident of New Canaan since 2006 and a member of the Board of Education since 2017.  She has three children currently attending the New Canaan Public Schools.

She graduated from The University of Texas with a degree in Communications. After graduating, Katrina worked in the healthcare industry in consulting, strategic development and marketing across the pharmaceutical, biotech, hospital and health insurance sectors. She held senior managerial positions at Pfizer Inc. and Deloitte Consulting, and began her career in healthcare with Andersen Consulting.

Katrina has been an active volunteer in the New Canaan community.  She was the President of the West Elementary School Parent Teacher Council and has held Board level positions within the New Canaan Winter Club, First Presbyterian Nursery School and the Newcomers Club of New Canaan.  She was an Elder at First Presbyterian Church where she served as head of Children’s Ministries for three years.  Presently, Katrina serves as a Grade Level Advisor for the National Charity League, is the girls scheduler for the New Canaan Lacrosse Association, has volunteer roles with the New Canaan Library and University of Texas UTNY program and remains active on committees and events for her children’s schools, theater and sports programs.
