Last week, our new Governor introduced his “more of the same” budget – more sales tax on everything, more fees and now tolls everywhere and on everyone. It adds up to $2 BILLION – but not one cut to our State’s profligate spending addiction.
Tonight, come to Town Hall and see if New Canaan’s three Freshman Democrat Representatives to Hartford support the $2 BILLION in NEW TAXES AND TOLLS – but not one cut to spending.
Why is Tom O’Dea New Canaan’s only Representative who has come out against all three proposed School Consolidation Bills – whether forced or incentive-based? Consolidations do not provide measurable savings, do not improve educational outcomes and would result in the loss of local control of our schools. Tom O’Dea will be on hand to answer your questions along with Lucy Dathan and Will Haskell.
